Privacy policy

King of the Club (kingoftheclub.dk) is the data controller for the processing of your data. Contact us at kontakt@kingoftheclub.dk if you have questions about this policy.

Account data: name, email address, language and theme choices, optionally a profile photo, gender, date of birth (only your age in years is shown to others, and you can choose to hide it), nationality, preferred position on the court and optionally a link to your RankedIn profile.

Club and game data: the clubs you are a member or admin of, your matches, points, results and ELO rating history.

Sign-in with Apple or Google: if you choose this, we only receive your name and email address (with Apple, possibly a private relay address) from the provider.

We do not process age under 15, and we do not collect sensitive data beyond the above.

The processing is carried out to fulfil our agreement with you (art. 6.1.b of the GDPR): to create your account, show rankings, results and badges to the club's members, calculate ELO ratings and send the emails you have chosen to receive. Your language and appearance choices are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in giving you a well-functioning service.

Your data is only shown to members and admins of the clubs you are part of. Your email address is not shown to other users. We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (see item 7), we remove your account and personal data, including your profile photo. Results and rating history may be kept in the club's history in anonymised form so the club's ranking remains correct.

The service is hosted and operated by Lovable Cloud (hosting, database and login), and emails are sent via our email provider. The data processors process the data on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes.

You can always delete your account yourself inside the app under Account → Danger zone → Delete account. This deletes your account and your personal data. Your player cards in the clubs remain without a linked account so the club's history is preserved — if you also want a player card deleted, the club's admin can do it. Clubs you own pass to another admin; if you are the only one, the club is deleted with its content. You can also ask us to delete your data at kontakt@kingoftheclub.dk.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection under the GDPR, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk). Contact us at kontakt@kingoftheclub.dk if you want to exercise your rights.

The app stores your login and your choices (language, theme) in your browser's local storage. We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not share your data with advertising networks.

For operations and security, the hosting platform automatically records technical information about each visit: which pages are shown, the page you came from, browser and device information, approximate location (country and city), language, time zone, and a session identifier. If the app runs into an error, a technical error report (message and stack trace) is sent so we can fix it. This information is used to keep the service running and stable — not for advertising, and not to track you across other apps and websites.

We may update this policy. Significant changes are announced in the app or by email, and the current version is always found on this page.
